欧州のほとんどの大学では、英語が母国語ではない生徒に対して IELTSやTOEFLといった英語力を証明するテストのスコア提出を求めています。
成績が出願基準を満たしていても、大学の授業についていくだけの語学力がなければ出願した大学からオファーをもらうことは難しく、またギリギリでオファーをもらったとしても実際の授業についていけなくては意味がありません。日本で生活している生徒さんは、授業の一環として長年英語を学んでいるものの、何かを学ぶためのツールとして英語を習得していないことと、毎日の生活で英語を使う頻度が少ないため、英語の成績が良くてもIELTSやTOEFLとなるとスコアを出せない生徒さんがたくさんいます（特にスピーキング）。

Meet your coach – Sonia Lospitao
Sonia Lospitao is an experienced communications specialist and certified coach. She combines her 25+ years working in communications with almost 10 years of coaching expertise to help her clients find their own voice and communicate confidently.
She has lived and worked in four different countries, travelled to more than 50 and speaks English, French and Spanish. She holds a BSc in Communications from the University of Texas at Austin (USA), and a MA in International Studies from the University of Leeds (UK).
Sonia is an accredited member of the International Coaching Federation (ICF).
